How To Present The True Business Value of Microsoft-Based Technologies To Your Internal Customers

“Selling” technology solutions to internal users and stakeholders may actually be harder than building them. That’s because those of us who are inspired to build with the Microsoft stack tend to focus on the technology rather than the business problems that need to be solved. What we see as exciting and new can seem overwhelming, disconnected, or unnecessarily complex to business leaders and end users.

This session explores how technologists can frame business conversations that build understanding and support for technology initiatives. We will cover:

Preparing high-level, business-oriented value propositions grounded in recognizable pain points
Identifying economic and risk-related benefits that stakeholders can understand
Explaining how Microsoft technologies solve business problems in clear, nontechnical language
Structuring projects around measurable outcomes and meaningful time-to-value metrics

This session is intentionally broad. As the provider of Contracts 365, a leading Microsoft-based contract management platform, we will use contract-related examples to illustrate and support the session’s broader themes.

looking forward to digging into this topic with Susan Hanley, Chris Bortlik and the entire audience - should be a fun and engaging session!
