Your Brain on Tech: Reclaiming Focus in the Age of AI

We live in a world where work, learning, communication, and even rest are increasingly mediated by screens. As technology, including AI becomes more deeply embedded in our daily routines it’s worth asking: what are we gaining, and what are we giving up?

This session explores
• the hidden cost of “always on”
• the difference between using AI as a helper vs a doer
• how we can build a healthier relationship with technology without rejecting its benefits
• and practical ways to reclaim mental space in a hyperconnected world

The goal of this session is not to turn back time but to be more intentional about how we use technology, so it supports our lives instead of consuming them.

Attendees will leave with strategies for evaluating their own technology habits, balancing work tech with personal tech, setting healthier boundaries, and not losing site of the importance of independent thought, reflection, and critical thinking.
